• Over Head water tank should be kept in South West corner of the house.
  • If South West is not possible, it should be kept in South or West direction.
  • Overhead tank should never be placed in South East or North East direction.
  • Over head tank should not be kept directly on the roof floor. It should be kept on a platform.
  • If the stairs are on other side than South West, then keep the overhead tank in South West direction in such a way that the height is more than anything on the last floor.
  • Over flow pipe should be in North East or North West direction.
  • Water tank should be of black or blue color.
  • It should be covered properly.
  • If it happens to be over the master bed room then the position should not be exactly over the bed.
