Vastu principles for industry ensure the successful production and profitable business. Vastu advice for industry helps to get way for prosperity in business. There are several things that are considered while setting. Vastu guidelines for industries like selection of plot, position of electronic gadgets, location of guardroom, staff quarters, pantry, administrative area, color scheme of the industry, placement of raw materials and many more. Even though there are vast differences in production methods or process flow etc. in different industries but the broad principles of Vaastu Shastra are universally applicable.

  • Facing of industry should be North, East or Northeast.
  • South facing industry goes into losses and indebtness.
  • Industry having entry in Southwest is worst and it cannot run successfully for long. I may go into heavy losses and failure.
  • Gates of the industry should be such that there is separate gate for persons and big vehicles.
  • Guard room should be in Southeast or Northwest of the gate depending on the facing.
  • The shed of the plant should be in Southwest area so that there is less space in Southwest and more space in Northeast,
  • Slope of the shed should be in North and East. Both sided slopes are normal.
  • Colors on the shade should be light blue, grey and the colors of the pillars should be yellow.
  • Administrative office may be built in Southwest area if possible otherwise best place is North and East.
  • Slope of the land should be in East and North.
  • Staff quarter should be placed in Southeast or Northwest area.
  • Shape of the land should be square or rectangle. But big plots are hardly available in shape. So, the plant area should at least be made in shape and rest of the area should be separated by plant area with a gate.
  • Well or bore well should be made only in Northeast, North or East area.
  • Overhead water tank should be built in Southwest area.
  • Stairs should be constructed in Southwest area.
  • Septic tank/chambers should be made in Northwestern area.
  • Heavy machineries should be installed in Southwest area of the shed.
  • Packing machine should be fixed in North or Northwest area.
  • Raw material should be kept in South or Southwest area. Coal or items related to fire can be stored in Southeast area.
  • Fresh/Finished stock should be kept in Northwest area.
  • Transformer / Electric control room should be fixed in Southeast or Northwest area.
  • High Tension electrical wire crossing the plant or in front of the main gate are not good.
  • Weigh Bridge should be installed in Northwest, North or East area.
  • Boiler should be installed in Southeast area. If Southeast is not possible, it can be installed in Northwaest area.
  • Chimneys are having maximum height but having fire component also. So it should be fixed in such a way that both the rules are followed. So, it should be fixed in Southeast direction of the Southwestern portion of the plant.
  • Color of the chimney should be brick red or grey.
  • Empty bags, packing material should be kept in South direction.
  • If any compressor has to be installed, it should be installed in West direction.
  • Any cooling unit should be installed in Southeast region.
  • Labor toilet should be in Northwest area.
  • Stairs should be in Southwest area.
  • If any basement has to be built, it should be in Northeast area.
  • Puja place should be placed in Northeast area of owner cabin/administrative office.
  • Canteen for staffs should be in Southeast or Northwest area.
  • Spare parts store should be in South area.
